Euthydemos (Plato)

Dionysodorus: You say you have a dog?
Ctesippus: Yes, a villain of one.
Dionysodorus: And he had puppies?
Ctesippus: Yes, and they are very like himself…
Dionysodorus: And the dog is not yours?
Ctesippus: To be sure he is mine.
Dionysodorus: Then he is a father, and he is yours; therefore, he is your father, and the puppies are your brothers.
